Gainesville, FL - On Feb. 19, Optym held its first Convergence - a daylong conference at which transportation and logistics leaders shared ideas, learned about each other's challenges and found out more about upcoming Optym products. The following companies were in attendance:

Topics of discussion included the current and future roles of optimization in transportation, recipes for a successful project, deciding on in-house or third-party development and encouraging team members to step out of their comfort zones to try new processes. Attendees also sat in on a press conference with Florida Governor Rick Scott, who visited Optym to commemorate the grand opening and present President & CEO Ravi Ahuja with the Business Ambassador's Award, and enjoyed the dinner and entertainment lined up for the grand opening.
Optym plans to make Convergence an annual event, expanding it to a multi-day format and using a larger site to accommodate more guests.
