Users are unable to use RouteMAX system without a user account. To get a user account, a user must provide an email address, username, password, desired terminals access to the system. This information
This request can also be made on behalf of users by someone from Saia IT or Saia Operations team.
User information is used for the following:
- To analyze application usage and improve the service;
- To deliver to user any administrative notices, or password reset emails
- To fulfill user’s requests for certain services;
- To third-party contractors that provide services to RouteMAX and are bound by these same privacy restrictions
Online session information and use is only used to improve user’s experience
When users visit RouteMAX, RouteMAX may collect technical and navigational information, such as computer browser type, Internet protocol address, pages visited, and average time spent on different pages. This information may be used, for example, to alert software compatibility issues, or it may be analyzed to improve RouteMAX Web design and functionality.
Disclosure of user’s information to protect RouteMAX rights or if required by law
Notwithstanding the foregoing, RouteMAX reserves the right (and user authorize RouteMAX) to share or disclose user’s personal information when RouteMAX determines, in its sole discretion, that the disclosure of such information is necessary or appropriate:
Users can transport or delete user’s data
User’s data is theirs. User can remove it anytime user wants. When user requests RouteMAX to delete user’s account for the Service, user’s data will be permanently expunged from RouteMAX primary production servers and further access to user’s account will not be possible. RouteMAX will also promptly disconnect any connection RouteMAX had established to user’s Account Information and delete all account credentials. However, portions of user’s data, consisting of aggregate data derived from user’s Account Information, may remain on RouteMAX production servers indefinitely. User’s data may also remain on a backup server or media. RouteMAX keeps these backups to ensure RouteMAX’s continued ability to provide the Service to users in the event of malfunction or damage to RouteMAX’s primary production servers. RouteMAX also reserves the right to use any aggregated or anonymous data derived from or incorporating user’s personal information.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their Login ID and Password
If users have a security related concern, they may contact RouteMAX at email@example.com. RouteMAX will work closely with user to ensure a response to users’ concerns.
Updates to RouteMAX Privacy and Security Policy
RouteMAX will update this Privacy & Security Policy periodically. The date last revised would appear at the top of the Policy. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting.
Addressing user’s questions or concerns
Should user have questions, comments, concerns or feedback regarding this Privacy and Security Policy or any other privacy or security concern, they may send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
All Optym employees and all RouteMAX users are expected to comply with these policies. Adherence to these policies will be monitored by the Optym IT department, ISMS team, and RouteMAX support team.
In the event, a user has violated this policy the user and/or their organization is responsible for any resulting impacts and can be subject to disciplinary action. In the event, a RouteMAX employee has violated any of these policies, that employee will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
