Evolution and Revolution in the Trucking Industry

This talk will present ongoing evolutionary trends in the deployment of advanced analytics and automation technology in the trucking industry, with a focus on both modern decision-support tools and hardware advances that are leading to a coincident evolution in business models. We will then shift the focus to more revolutionary ideas, some of which may take hold and transform the industry further, and some of which may indeed flop and fade away.
